Bastardo shaving soap opens with a fresh and juicy note of orange, primarily derived from natural orange essential oil, complemented by a hint of other aromatic materials to provide a woody and waxy nuance.

A selection of spices and woods in small quantities enhances the characteristic scent of bay leaf, the main spicy component of this fragrance. The essential oil of Bay St. Thomas leaves, also known as West Indian Bay oil, is renowned for its warm, spicy, and aromatic profile. A rich and herbaceous fragrance, with notes of clove, cinnamon, and eucalyptus.

Always present is the sweet and sugary accord of Rum, with a tobacco and woody facet.

Then a touch of Vanilla balances the spicy notes with a warm and comforting undertone, and the timeless Patchouli essential oil adds earthy depth to the olfactory profile, enhancing the richness of bay leaf and complementing the notes of rum and orange.

The new formula of Cliché shaving soap represents a refined and natural evolution of Westman Shaving’s original composition. Thanks to the innovations made, there have been significant improvements in performance, offering superior quality lather, optimal glide, and post-shave comfort that respects the skin’s balance.
In detail, selected ingredients have been introduced for their beneficial properties: broccoli seed oil has been preferred over apricot kernel oil to ensure optimal absorption, leaving the skin soft and hydrated. Dimethicone has been incorporated for its unparalleled lubricating qualities, essential for a smooth and comfortable shaving experience.
In addition, the composition has been simplified by reducing the number of saponified fats. This has allowed a focus on the most effective ingredients, such as kokum butter and mango butter, intensifying the density of the lather produced. The formula is further enriched with natural elements like lanolin, as well as nourishing oils such as jojoba and avocado, for a perfect synergy that promotes healthy and well-cared-for skin.
