The scent is a lovely, fresh gin and tonic brought forth by the juniper which combines beautifully with some boozy notes and the lime in the background, but the main thing you notice once it’s on your face is that synthetic cooling that makes you feel ice cold! It’s really noticeable especially if you do a cold shave, maybe not the best soap to try in winter, but the feeling only lasts 10-15 minutes after the shave, strength is a nice 7/10 and lingers a bit afterward, Performance and post shave is also very impressive, I didn’t feel like I need to apply anything.

Una gradevole sorpresa. Le aspettative sulla protezione (superlativa), scorrevolezza e benessere dopo la rasatura sono state confermate. La nota che mi ha preso letteralmente è il profumo, che ripropone gli odori del lime e del gin (una vera e propria esplosione, sobria ma persistente), con una sensazione di freschezza che fa stare bene. Il piacere è tale, che a lavori ultimati, passo sul viso quel che rimane del sapone, giusto il tempo di mettere tutto in ordine, per godermi ancora un po’ le saponose carezze e, a malincuore, sciacquare il tutto.

Sapone spettacolare, grasso al punto giusto con una buona protezione ma soprattutto una scorrevolezza incredibile. È uno di quei saponi che lascia il post idratato e non ci sarebbe neanche bisogno dell’after. Per quanto riguarda la profumazione non ho sentito proprio un gin tonic, prevale su tutto il lime e poi si sente la nota di gin pian piano. Non c’è il mentolo ma c’è un altro componente inodore che dà una freschezza incredibile, veramente ghiacciato, perfetto per l’estate.
