The MERKUR Progress 500 stands for maximum variability. Even then in the 1950s, it was one of the first safety razors with an adjustable blade gap. Since you also adjust the setting angle of the razor blade, you can adjust the thoroughness of the shave to your own personal taste. With the short handle, you gain freedom of movement in complex facial and body areas.

The head of the safety razor is manufactured using the zinc die-casting process since it creates instruments with maximum precision even for complex shapes. In order to ensure a comfortable weight distribution, we only use brass for the handle. The chrome finish protects the razor from corrosion and underlines the high-quality design.
PRODUCT DETAILS
You can adjust the distance between blade and comb with a quick rotation of the handle. This way you can tune the thoroughness of the shave to your personal preference. For example, you can work long hair with a large blade gap, while the daily facial shave can be done with a gentle blade setting.

Grande rasoio dal rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente. Molto efficace nelle sue regolazioni più spinte ma sempre gestibile e poco capriccioso. Nell’esemplare da me acquistato non ho constatato alcun problema di allineamento della lametta e la tacca di regolazione a fondo scala capita tra il + e l’1. Consigliatissimo.
Ottimo rasoio, ben costruito e molto pratico da usara
Posseggo tutti i Merkur e il Progress 500 è senza dubbio il migliore. E’ stato amore a prima sbarbata. Mi piace il peso, il fatto che sia un 2 pezzi regolabile e il suo aspetto vintage. Siamo di fronte a un rasoio totale, che assolve a tutte le esigenze di rasatura grazie alla regolazione, con un comportamento che non è estremo come per il Futur, ma ugualmente efficace. Ricerco sempre la rasatura profonda e il Progress non mi delude mai. Consiglio questo rasoio a tutti quelli che cercano un regolabile top o un rasoio definitivo senza spendere cifre astronomiche. Un ringraziamento particolare va a Jack che mi ha supportato durante la fase di acquisto, innalzando ulteriormente il livello già ottimo del servizio di Goodefella’s Smile.
Rasoio che digerisce ogni tipo di lama,qualità di rasatura sempre al top, la delicatezza e l’efficacia sono gestite dalla regolazione che fa diventare questo rasoio un vero tosaerba senza mai essere troppo sgarbato, un plauso al servizio pre e post vendita offerto dai ragazzi di goodfellas ( in particolare a mr. Jack ) che è di alto livello anzi altissimo…

Posseggo una mini collezione di rasoi e questo è entrato prepotentemente al primo posto!
Credo che se dovessi scegliere solo un rasoio questo sarebbe il prescelto.
Adatto dalle sbarbate quotidiane a quelle di più giorni. Lo utilizzo anche per radermi la testa ottenendo risultati eccellenti.
Armato con le classiche Astra verdi viaggia che è un piacere senza provocare fastidiose irritazioni.
Inizialmente non mi piaceva il famoso nottolino color crema della regolazione ma dopo poco ho iniziato ad apprezzarlo dal momento che gli conferisce un fascino vintage oltre che essere pratico nell’utilizzo.
Insomma….un ottimo rasoio per tutti capace di appagare i tonsori più esperti e a convincere chi si è avvicinato da poco al mondo della rasatura tradizionale.
Questo il mio parere.
