Fatip safety razors are ENTIRELY made in Italy. The metal used is brass, which is worked by the craftsmen of Premana, first in shape and then plated in various finishes.
Step 1: Assemble the head by unscrewing the handle and lifting the lid
Step 2: Position the new razor blade under the lid
Step 3: Screw and tighten the handle and you are ready for shaving

I shave every day. My beard is very thick while skin is sensitive and prone to irritation – a peasant’s beard and a gentleman’s skin. I have used R89 for three years and got good results with sharp blades (Nacet, Silver blue), but often ended with nicks or cuts. After using Fatip Gentile for two months I thing I won’t go back to R89. The comfort of shaving is like comparing day and night, the razor and blade are literary flowing on the skin leaving beautiful marble like BBS in 3 pass shave (cuts and irritation are gone). Razor is very effective – just find the right angle and let the blade flow.
My copy is almost excellent. No blade alignment issues. The plating under the top cap could be better finished. Overall razor plating is not on level of Muhle, but I hope it will last. Olive wood handle is beautiful, no slippery issues, and still no traces of use in humid environment.
