For the creation of Apsley Truefitt&Hill turned to the Duke of Wellington, one of England’s most illustrious sons. A legendary figure among Britain’s greatest heroes, military genius and enlightened statesman, he combines the idea of courage and determination with the sophisticated sophistication of the English gentleman. The Apsley Colony has borrowed its name from the palace of the same name in London, once the residence of the Duke of Wellington and now a museum dedicated to him.
