A FRESH AND OCEAN fragrance
Derived from a formulation known as “Palmerston Bouquet” that dates back to the late 1850s. Fresh and oceanic, 1805 has top notes of bergamot, mandarin and cardamom, combined with lavender, geranium and a heart of sage that rests on sandalwood, cedarwood and a base of musk.
TRUEFITT & HILL 1805 COLONY 100ML It is inspired by Palmerston Bouquet created in 1850 for Viscount Palmerston, one of the Prime Ministers of Queen Victoria. In 1998 it was reformulated, re-orchestrated and christened 1805 to commemorate the year Truefitt opened his shop. Palmerston Bouquet was part of the exclusive fragrances created for Regiments, prominent institutions and eminent personalities. These included The Choice of the Rifle Brigade, The Favourite of the Royal Artillery, Jockey Club Bouquet, The Royal London Yacht Club Bouquet or Knickerbocker Nosegay.
