This aftershave encapsulates the scent of the sea in the classic Extrò glass bottle, thanks to the sea borage contained in the base notes.
A fresh and sparkling aftershave (but also perfume) that makes you long for summer.

Top Notes: grapefruit, bay leaf, watermelon
Heart Notes: precious woods, sandalwood, patchouly
Base Notes: tree borage, amber, sea borage
This aftershave thanks to the high percentage of essence (10%) can be used as a perfume.

A few month ago I managed to get Extrò Cosmetics Isola soap, which I found to be a brilliant soap and really liked the fragance. So I took the chance in buying this aftershave to have a set. As fan of Extro, I wanted this aftershave to be as good as Isola soap. Sadly, this is not the case! The scent has a syntethic note that is harsh and caused my skin to burn including some sort of reaction were my face went bright red and burned so much. After that I had to wash the stuff off! A cold towel never felt so good!. There is no oil layer in this aftershave.
I really wanted this product to be fantasic, but sadly its not.

Non so davvero che voto dare a questo prodotto. Cercherò di essere più neutrale possibile.
Effetto lenitivo: non mi sembra eccezionale.
Profumo: troppo floreale. Immediatamente è piacevole, ma stanca subito.
Da usare a piccole dosi.

After shave pessimo. Secondo me l’obiettivo primario di un buon dopobarba è l’effetto lenitivo ed idratante per poter rigenerare la pelle che, volente o nolente, qualsiasi rasatura sottopone a grande stress. Isola non fa nulla di tutto ciò: non contiene oli essenziali (non se ne vedono in deposito), contiene una quantità esagerata di alcool mista ad una fragranza che, per me, è una patetica e mal riuscita imitazione del noto profumo da uomo di Kenzo.
Appena lo metti in viso, invece che lenire, va ancor di più ad irritare senza alcun beneficio.
Un after shave come si deve necessita di glicerina, aloe, estratti di camomilla e quant’altro per assolvere la funzione per cui è nato. Altrimenti posso prendere uno dei miei tanti profumi di marca e splasharmelo in faccia, è la stessa cosa.

Ho deciso di provare questa fragranza, visto l’approssimarsi dell’estate e devo dire che ho fatto bene. E’ un dopobarba col profumo giusto per questa stagione, mi piace davvero tanto.
Trovo un po’ scomodo il beccuccio di plastica, ma poca cosa
Il profumo è avvolgente e soprattutto “ci mette un po'” prima di esplodere nella sua nota definitiva.
Sono molto contento della scelta e lo consiglio a chi piacciono fragranze fresche, estive, da brezza marina
